What is the source of sin? How do the Demons get in?

What is the source of Sin? What is Sin, even? Well, it’s lies. It’s the lies we tell about ourselves, both to ourselves and others, which we then need to compound with other lies, to support those previous, until eventually, “drama” happens.

Jung quote of the Month – July 2024

This month, I’d like to do things a little different, and contrast a Jung quote with the myth of Medusa to see if we can gain greater insight into the ways of the collective consciousness, and the archetypes that it can bring to us.

The nature of sin, and the trouble with interpretation

If you understand that in biblical terms, the root of all sin, is lies. And that it is the lies we tell ourselves, and act on as if they were true, which causes sinful behaviour. And that a huge lie a number of people tell themselves, is that they are normal, which means they are conforming to some standard of normality that they have adopted from external influences.
