Awakening to the Truth of Self
The Truth of self is not the truth of self most people are used to, it is a deep understanding of true self that often takes years of self-introspection in order to obtain, This is the challenge all humans have; Obtaining an understanding of their authentic self when the world around them is filled with so many distractions and misinformation.
True self is the divine self, it is the purest form of self and it is the self that is eternal. The aspect most people think of as self is not eternal and will be lost when they pass over. During that time they will get to remember true self and they will embrace it for this is the core of their original authentic self that they have incarnated numerous times in order that this truth can find expression.
This is the secret many have little clue about, that we set ourselves the challenge of being true to self from the start and then we forget that challenge and are set the task of finding it amongst a world that seems created deliberately in order that we lose our self and then keep us distracted from the path of finding our truth.
Once an individual is able to connect with their true self then that person becomes a Christ. I’m not talking about Christianity here but a specific status, the task of anyone that wishes to be Christed is to know and love all of self and this is the journey that is open to all of us, we just have to look.
Becoming Christed is not the end of the journey but the beginning, for there are two aspects of self to be explored. The Inner Self and the Wider Self. The Inner Self is all aspects of self that make up the core of a person, this is the body, the mind, the ego and also aspects of self that have been discarded and lost. All must become known, recovered and loved.
The wider self includes aspects of self that the normal person would not think of as self at all because the wider self is the rest of the universe and this is what a Christ will set out to explore, this is because having attained their own state of one-ness they will seek to form one-ness with all. This is the natural state that we yearn to attain, unity with all.
To the Christ, all is self. To them external world is just an extension of self and those personalities that one meets along the way are mirrors of self. This is especially true of the aspects of self one meets through self-introspection, many are darkened mirrors of self, bringing forward negative issues that at first glance one might wish to avoid. And yet they are self and the aim is to love all of self.
For a lot of the time, what is required is a resolution to a dilemma or drama, through this drama one gets to know more about this aspect of self and in turn the darkness in that mirror turns to light, that dark energy becomes transmuted to light.
But it is also worth bearing in mind that not all of these darkened mirrors we meet can be turned to light at the time when we first meet them, for some there is more distance to be tread; only when one reaches higher realisations of self can these issues be dealt with.
